Ashley Tison

Founder & CEO, Opportunity Zone Consultants

Ashley Tison is an experienced entrepreneur responsible for the founding and growth of numerous enterprises across a wide array of industries. His strengths include strategic planning and investment analysis. He has developed a keen ability to foresee future opportunities, trends and technologies and to locate and employ outstanding execution personnel.

As Founder and CEO, he is responsible for the overall selection of all assets in the OZ Opportunity Zone Fund, as well as day-to-day operations of the firm.

He has extensive real estate experience, acting as General Counsel to several firms and oversaw the management of all legal aspects of document review, litigation support, business risk management, and operating contracts. He managed and coordinated various real estate and general commercial transactions and business loans. Other responsibilities included commercial real estate analysis and lending transactions including but not limited to tenant-in-common transactions, commercial leases, general commercial sales and purchases in various states.

Critical experience includes his time spent with Viking Mergers & Acquisitions in Charlotte, NC. Mr. Tison brought 18 years of M&A experience from the legal world to bear for Viking clients going through the sales process or in need of succession planning or assistance with preparing for sale.

Mr. Tison graduated from the University of North Carolina Charlotte’s Belk College of Business with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and International Business major. He earned his Juris Doctorate in Law at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Judith A. Limbach

Investor Operations, Opportunity Zone Consultants

Judith Limbach brings more than 45+ years of experience in real estate and law. She ensures all investor’s account and distributions information is properly managed, and that all reporting is timely and accurate. She is the key contact for the firm’s investors.

She is also Founder/President of Edwin Mae, Inc., which specializes in the maintenance of investor LLC’s and other SPE’s on behalf of TIC Sponsors. Edwin Mae forms entities, provides a Registered Agent and files Annual Reports and works diligently to keep all entities compliant within its states of formation and authorization. She spent 5 years as Acquisitions Manager and then Vice President of Closing for a national Tenant-in-Common/DST sponsor. Ms. Limbach was responsible for the daily management of acquisitions from due diligence to closing, including all TIC closings. She acted as liaison with integral parties in the purchase and syndication of properties, while providing analytical support to the operations team. She handled corporate, contract, and litigation. Ms. Limbach also participated in their development opportunities and oversaw management of development acquisitions. From 2002 to 2004 Ms. Limbach acted as a Paralegal with Parker, Poe, Adams & Bernstein, L.L.P., in Charlotte. She was responsible for the management of 60 to 90 litigation cases from inception to conclusion. She was also employed by Glenwood Development Company, responsible for real estate acquisition management, corporate, due diligence, leasing, contract, marketing and litigation matters. Ms. Limbach has an extensive background in real estate, corporate/business law and litigation. An Honor Graduate of Mountain State College, Ms. Limbach was later asked to teach law classes at her Alma Mater that included real estate, corporate, business and litigation. Ms. Limbach is a Certified Paralegal with the North Carolina State Bar Association

Specialties: drafting contracts, wills, trusts and amendments; investor relations including new account development, entity formation and maintenance, correspondence, quarterly and annual reporting; plus real estate closings including working with local counsel and escrow agents.
